Xoriguer

Xoriguer
Menorca, in the Balearics, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its particularity and environmental purity. For most of the 1700s the island was a British colony and local artisans began producing gin ever since to meet the demands of British Royal Navy sailors. The Pons family began producing in 1820 giving the Gin the name Xoriguer, after the windmill where they had practiced the profession of millers. Due to its origins and its peculiar characteristics, Gin di Menorca is the only “DOC” of gin recognized: GIN E.T.G. MAHON-MENORCA.
